Andreas - I just saw that. For some good background see
"Enrico Pesatori: Will he ever be No.1?"

zdnet.com

Pesatori was a highly regarded operations guy but not regarded as a visionary strategic thinker. Given that the Enterprise group numbers declined at a time when SUNW was racking up record sales, and the "Wildfire" product, which could generate hundreds of millions in revenue per quarter, was delayed more than 18 months, he may have lost favor and gotten "pushed". I'm still hoping for additional cost savings announcements this quarter, and there seemed few cost cutting moves in the Enterprise group, which has the biggest overhead. Or maybe Pesatori really just wanted to get into a startup, it's one thing he never tried as far as I know.

Whatever the reason, I doubt if it will have much impact on CPQ. Streamlining is good.
