Second of all, while I defend MSFT in this case, I think their stock is going down. Most people here defending MSFT are also predicting the stock will go up; that's what makes my opinion "different." You can cry me a river for the OEMs but the bottom line is that going along with MSFT brought a known profit while going against them would have meant charting unknown territory and none of them had the wherewithal to do that. FWIW Andy
