If any get frustrated with Tbird incompatibility with KX133, it would be very few customers given that over 2million mother boards sold were based on the AMD chipset. The existing KX133 boards may drop in prices dramatically. This will also teach a valuable lesson to the Taiwanese motherboard makers that waited for Via's chipset to enter into the Athlon market, not to depend on Via. I suspect that the main reason for AMD's decision to rely on VIA was due to these Taiwanese motherboard makers - who were perhaps reluctant to support Athlon without Via's chipset. Goutama, How successful do you think AMD will be in keeping Tbirds out of retail channels? I can't help but believe that anyone who really wants a Slot Tbird enough to get a leaked one would be willing to go back to the 750. Also, unless I'm missing something here...won't the Tbird also be manufactured as a socket? I realize this may be after the slot version, but won't this placate those who want a 133mhz ram and agp 4 solution, at least until the 760 is released? Also, I suppose people can hope for a slot/socket converted... -Scot
