Not the technology or the business model that's flawed here - but the execution.

Right on A.L.-- now you know why I'm out.

I listened to the conf call. Maybe I am just hearing what I want to hear but I thought BS handled the call just fine. Lots of positives about Lor and significant gains over the prior year yet the stock goes to 8. All trends on G* are up. Vod orders a new gw for NZ. Kinda dumb if the product producer going to go bankrupt. I heard BS say the LP ptrs are prepared to fund any shortages if needed which he doesn't anticipate. He stated that the shortage would be there if they had zero revenue. I think revenue will be a little higher than zero. G* today is light years ahead of where Iridium ever was. Despite all this, the stock goes to 9 and short interest jumps another few mil to 25 mil or so. (That squeeze will be quite a ride if and when it comes. I am betting it will come.)

On the downside, it is frustrating but not necessarily surprising that he can't be more specific on billable mou's. If he is that evasive 6 months from now, I will fully concede that we are in trouble. Of course, it will be very apparent by then so my announcement certainly won't be news.

I just can't get into the BS bashing camp and fortunetely this board generally sticks to factual discussions rather than rampant bashing that occurs on some others. I heard the the CEO of JDSU on CNBC a week or two ago who said everything was fine, on plan, doesn't worry about the day-to-day stock price, etc. and no one is bashing him. I guess you wouldn't if you were in his stock at 20 but how about the folks who are in it at 100 to 150? I presume to those folks, everything is not on plan. I found no fault in his remarks but they certainly were not any more revealing than Bernard's.

There is a new ad campaign coming out next week which I understand has more endorsements. Yes, it looks like I am about to be upstaged. That's fine with me. I guess there is another cc on Monday followed by the sh mtg on Tues. It could be an informative week and it just might be profitible.
