*sticky smooth vast & furious* Aloha my friend, brother of Roger and minder of the Wicked Mad Mano Wahines of Maui, I bring you tidings of recommended reading. Just received the notice of RCN's annual meeting. Enclosed in the same mailing envelope is RCN's 1999 Annual Report which bears the title shown in bold italics atop this message. It is one of the neatest, slickest and readable annual reports (except for those accursed, conceived in accountant's Hades, but necessary financial statistics, of course) I have seen. No wonder RCN's competitors consider it the most feared enterprise in their field. But read it for yourself. I believe you will be impressed. I particularly commend to you the resumes and affiliations of its Board of Directors. RCN may be a relatively small company compared to the giants it is taking on, but its roster of Board Members favorably compares with that of a Dow 100 corporation. May your nonis increase. Aloha Sy
