if you consider the market's reaction to each 25 bp. hike (it rallied mightily after every single hike) a 50 bp. hike should be bought with abandon. especially if there are hints of more to come.
that game is damned to continue: Fed hikes, market has 'relief' rally, higher market stimulates consumption, consumption stimulates inflation and trade deficit, market begins to worry about next hike and goes down a bit, next hike comes, market has 'relief' rally, etc.

until one day rates are high enough...or the current account deficit finally topples the buck.
