Again- Pat please focus your energy on the technology and not so much on personalities. If you are unable to assess the merits of Avanex's technology within the context of the current (and future) networking landscape just admit it. Not a peep has been mentioned regarding the 'facts' of the GTR with respect to the implications of the PowerMux on next-generation network topology. Frankly I'm not very interested in the discrepancies of square footage and patent numbers between you and the GTR- but if you could provide a description of how Ciena's CoreDirector will complement the PowerMux or what influence the PowerMux will have on the sale of JDSU's passive gratings I would be very appreciative- it seems to me this 'style' of DD would be much more fashionable (and useful) for everyone. fwiw jeremic ps if you ever tire of the sensationalism of lawsuits and letters, you may want to perform the same sort of DD on Terayon's S-CDMA
