Casaubon, there is R&D and there is YHOO and AMZN <GGG> If you classify those biotech companies as the R&D expense of the pharmaceutical industry that is one thing, their recent excessive valuation that is another thing all together ........ and belongs to the ponzi scheme promoted by the Robber Barons. As to AMZN for example they do not innovate anything on a grand scale and they are just another online catalog company loosing huge amounts of money and driving many retailers out of business. AMZN fair stock price $2 to $3 for the chance of being profitable in 2 to 3 years if at all. Similar approach to many biotech companies and as a matter of fact many were priced in that range only a year ago. Remeber it all has to do with VALUATION nothing else. BWDIK Haim
