Unbeleivable! A balanced post from an EDIG long!

Somebody catch me!

I do take exception to this:

"Why are there so many people bashing this stock on Raging Bull. This is so unprecedented, and you seriously have to wonder why someone wants this price low. The comatose movement in stock price would bore most people, but these 10 or 20 people don't let up."

I'd say that it sounds like the activity on both sides is proportional to the difference in activity between SI and RB. There are fewer than a half-dozen people here on SI who make negative comments, and whom the longs absolutely refuse to tolerate. On RB, there are n X as many total posters, as well as n X as many "bashers", who are equally untolerated.

I doubt that there is any conspiracy. (It's logical, though, that if there were any conspiracy at all, it would be on the long side.) Just a natural difference of opinions, and an intolerant thin-skinned bunch on the long side.

The rest of what you said seems quite fair and balanced.

I will note, though, that I have followed others stocks (ask PartyTime) that have exhibited similar characteristics (bright prospects, attracted big-name talent, press announcements from big-name partners, etc.) that turned out to be a total scam, because of one big rat at the top who's a smooth talker. (The big names all were bamboozled.)

Not saying that's what's happening here - I don't know - just saying that it IS possible and I've seen it happen. IMO, the track record of the company and it's principals is a lot more indicitive of things to come than any of this "rub-off" glitter.
