I'm neutral to bearish here except for the energy stocks and a few semi-equipment stocks and even then small positions, however..

My best indicator for the last year or two has been rally's on Friday's (with exception of options expir) is a bullish sign. In down periods no one would take anything home over the weekend and sell everything on Friday. I'm interested that you find the opposite to be true (up on Friday in bear trend). Of course I hardly call today a "rally".

I think we have a lack of buyers and sellers here and prices are drifting on air. As long as the PPT doesn't run out of money to prop up some key index stocks we could go sideways for a few more days before we begin the next leg down. Who knows.
