Do you not want to read anything that may challenge his dark view of things?

You are challenging one man's character... I don't see where you have challenged his views. I believe that one issue that bothers him is the purchase of Excite and the resulting focus on content rather than the BB subscriber base. Why don't you give us your rebuttal ? Why was Excite and Bluemountain, for that matter, a wise purchase ? How has it added to shareholder value ? When and how will it add to value in the future ? What will be the catalyst for a change in perceptions on the "street" ? What caused the stock to trade down into the mid-teens ? Is the stock a "buy" only because it is "cheap", or do you see a fundamental change that will drive perception in a positive manner ?

Mike

The facts DO support my statements, my statements are based on logic.

Is this the same logic you used to prove that purchase accounting goodwill is tax deductible. LOL.

Wingman, critical thinking is more than logic, much more. In any case, you often display logical errors in your arguments, therefore, given that you rely on logic, why should anyone listen to you. Aren't you the guy who claimed to be trained in logic (or was it problem solving?), whose logic was better than 98% of the population? Those statements are documented in the thread.

Perhaps, you should cease your constant ad hominem attacks and concentrate on providing a well structured strong persuasive argument.

What exactly are you arguing, anyway?

"I am trying to wean you away from the nipple of your deceptive Organ Grinder."

Hey, KW. Being an Organ Grinder's monkey isn't half bad. Here are a "few" of the many perks:

1. You can get a nice tan being out on the sidewalk all day. Granted, you will need to shave first.

2. You get to listen to some mighty fine tunes.

3. Most monkeys are able to work on a percentage basis. Hey, that can amount to some real dough!

4. Most importantly, when you go out with the tin cup, you can peek under the ladies' dresses. Now tell me, isn't that worth putting up with a short leash. A guy does need to take off those blinders first, though.

On another topic...my lawnmower got away from me today. My backyard makes Mt. McKinley look like a mole hill. Anyway, I finished mowing the top section of the yard, and I left the mower to put my son's swing in the normal position. Before I left the mower, I said to myself, "Now that damn thing isn't going to roll away is it? Naw," I reassured myself. (Same thing I've been saying about how ATHM couldn't go any lower.) Sure enough, as I'm walking up the hill I hear this movement. All I could do was watch my new Lawnboy pick up speed. Now, you would think a lawnmower couldn't roll. Right? Wrong! It went down that hill like a snowball. I've seen tobaggons go slower. I have a five foot retaining wall at the bottom. You should have seen that mower careen off and land on its top. I went down and inspected the damage. One wheel was badly bent. Of course I tried to straighten it...SNAP...the aluminum shell came off (with the wheel) in three pieces. My wife is a little torked at me. Especially when I told her that I'm going outside now to finish mowing with three wheels. Hell, if a dog can run on three legs, my Lawnboy ought to be able to. Is there something wrong with my logic?

I'll keep you posted,
Ed

His game works this way, he buys and sells at opportune times. You, his monkey, buys or sells when it supports his latest position.

Do you really think a message posted here has the power to influence the stock? If this is the case, with all my earlier cheerleading and that of Mr. David N currently, why are we where we are in price? And especially from Ah? He is usually so deep or technical that I would think all but the die-hards either skim or pass on the posts. Personally, with the volume that happens daily even a few thousand shares from here means squat.

If you want to open up your mind, PM me and I will send you some info. I hope that I can help you get those damn monkey blinders off.

Why do you think I am his monkey, simply because I value some of the information he shares? How do you make the quantum leap that because I 'appear' to stand for something of which you are opposed to, another poster, I need my mind opened and you are just the guy to do it? Enlighten me with facts, not negative bias, and what is wrong with the open thread? I have seen some of Ah's outrageous posts and like all here, I have paid my membership and am old enough to meat out what is germane for me and what is not. I never much liked cloak and dagger, smacks of paranoia and prejudice, hooded figures in the dark of night, and this is not meant as a slight to you.

Yeah or nay Ah, what does it matter? And with all I've held through and averaged down through realistically, this thread has done nothing to effect my trading other then educate me on more then I ever originally wished to know about this company and this sector.

A friend of mine, many years ago shared a wisdom which I think of often.

'When you see another doing something of which you do not approve, be sure of one action, do not do likewise.'

Keep your own house in order. Simple and pragmatic.

Though not necessary to explain, my intention was not to throw stones. I posted because I get tired of the horsefeathers sometimes. I guess we are all human. I remember you were torqued with Ah months ago and flew negativity in my direction then. I didn't answer because I figured it would go to a place like this, which helps to vent emotion but resolves little. So it goes.

I do wish you well.
