NEWS FLASH!

Maybe not new, but definitely worthy of note. Following the July Lewis v. Botha match, in November, Lennox Lewis will fight David Tua (35-1, 30 KO).

Tua is often remembered for his 19 second knockout of another, lesser known heavyweight John "Quiet Man" Ruiz (who fights Evander Holyfield in June and will have a shot at Lewis, eventually). He's a tough kid from New Zealand, a veritable ox with a thundering cross who, truth be told, at times reminds me of Cus D'Amato's protege from the streets of Brownsville, fighting out of the Catskills...

Whether Mike Tyson or David Tua get to Lennox Lewis first, the first fight will largely set the tone, give a strategy hint, and generally serve as a sneak preview for the second.

First things first, but now I'm on the lookout for a Mike Tyson/David Tua bout.
