+++the technology has yet to be proven to work.+++ It works all right. It's not a go/no go, works/doesn't work situation. LUMM knows it isn't perfect and is working to make it so. Will they ultimately achieve their goal of 5dB insertion loss - I sure hope so. LUMM doesn't do public demonstrations, they send working samples to interested companies so these interested companies can assess the worthiness at their own facilities and satisfy themselves as to the quality of the unit. LUMM deals with companies, not the public, for product sales. What would be the benefit to LUMM of a public demonstration? On public demonstrations a company called SilkRoad had one for the press which was widely reported. It looked fantastic. Is SilkRoad still in business? No. A Molex and/or Lumenon press release on a working product? I don't expect one. LUMM and Molex are intent on selling a working product not in issuing press releases to impress the public. Anyway, after a press release the companies would rightly say "prove it". Giving interested companies samples to do their own DD on, "proves it", IMO. And also, IMO, this LUMM stock will not be at $20 when the samples are announced as proved by unassailable potential customers. No way. $20 will have been the bargain of a lifetime in retrospect. But I hear what you are saying. If only we knew every detail of this development and all the surrounding aspects, present and future. That would make investing a sure thing and take all the fun and anticipation out of it and the gamble too, of course. Two points of view; mine, looking at the ultimate success, yours, looking at the difficulties and possible failure. That's what makes a stock market exciting, eh. And, BTW, LUMM is THE company that made sol-gel work. And LUMM management never got a dime of my investment in LUMM. I bought my shares on the open market when management was still locked out from selling. Lately when they did sell some shares, the buying public at that time bought their shares. Should management be lynched for selling a few shares. No. And revenue is still future based and we as angel investors are willing to live with that. Do the math on future revenues to understand why. Stay tuned, this company is going to be even more of an exciting one shortly than it has been up to now. DJ
