Ed, I like all your posts today, which were almost entirely without rancor, except one little namecalling dart at Frank. If we can continue in this vein, even when others disagree with you, the thread can benefit greatly from your perspective. And if this crazy week achieves that purpose then we can go back to being one of the most interesting and *civil* threads on SI. Both are important to myself and Poet--who by the way won't be back on until tomorrow nite. She's taking a stress break.

My point was you might educate us about the process of making a mistake and repairing it in your own history: when you bought AOL at 170 and it started to collapse, what did you think? Why and how did you get caught up in the momentum? You repaired the strategy by selling puts, letting yourself be assigned, and waiting for recovery. And came out with a profit.

Same with my other examples. Also that all investors are human, get caught up in the psychology of the market--make mistakes--as well as smart calls

Have a good weekend all--I'll be on again tomorrow nite.

Jill
