Coug, Your right on the potential of abuses. Apparently, moderators will have to deal with those hooligans like Jorj that insist on collecting bans. <gg> Cheeky will have to start a Most Banned on SI category.

I agree, but how can you tell if it's being abused? It's hard to see if a thread is being moderated and as far as I know, impossible to see who's been 'moderated' into silence.

Yahoo at least has a totally separate area for their user-moderated clubs, so everyone knows what's moderated and what's not.
