There is going to be a lot of things occur before this happens, but it sure could. I wonder if Japans model would be the thing to look at. Market down, debt pays no interest, etc.The rest of the world can get along without the strong $ and the US consumer. One of the places I have been looking at is countries that ship products that the rest of the world needs. For example, Japan is natural resource poor and will need to import this from other places. Australia comes to mind as well as some others.

Do you have any other ideas?
