but please enlighten me.

how does one know if one has been banned?

that is, could a member be currently banned from, say, 100 threads, but not be aware of it because said member never bothered to try to post to any of them?

and also, is the actual banning process a default, meaning everyone is banned except for names that are submitted? or the other way around?

I banned myself form the Studio 54 thread for a little bit, but I felt bad about doing it so I gave myself a reprive. It actually does work, but the thread originator still has the ability to un-ban him/herself.
