Just taking a quick look at Gold Reserve it appears that they will have very large development costs and slim margins. Financing could be a problem with the current POG.
A rise in the POG would make a huge difference.

I have been accumulating MGJ.V for assay results from Despinassy and further developments on other properties.

On my buying list are CRU.T, CRJ.T and MNP.V.

I would consider these to be bargains at their current levels with potential for significant gains over the next 6 months to a year.

Bob, Claude and others, Was curious if any of you have looked at Tenke's Vicuna project near Pascua, Veldero. Exploration is headed by Patricio Jones of Veldero fame so certainly a good pedigree (Lundin), that could raise the money. Capitalization is relatively modest (about US 11 million) and they would seem to have a value floor as they have a 10% carried interest in one the largest and lowest cost copper/cobalt projects in the world (Fungurume, unfortunately located in Rep. of Congo).

Specifically I would be interested in your opinion of the soil sampling and trenching results to date: tenke.com
My concern is that this just turns out to be another high capital cost, $175 cash cost deposit (like Brisas, Aldebaran, etc.) that needs $350 plus gold to make it. If it had low cost potential a la Pascua, this could be a real moonshot. Does Vicuna have that kind of possibilities?

Bob,

Gold Reserve is one of those very highly leverage situations. Huge reserves that are on the border of being economic. Give copper prices at $0.90 and gold above $325 and you have a much higher stock.

In time, it will be an explosive stock.
