Again: The Pollard issue is completely unconnected to my interest in the question "What does 'business to business' mean as related to that story?" The question regarding the phrase "business is business" is precisely the same whether the Pollard business was true or false. It has nothing whatever to do with my question to haqihana! Which is, simply, this: "What do you mean by 'business is business' there?" I am interested, so I asked. Forget Pollard! He has NOTHING to do with "Business is business." Which is a sentence with a meaning, presumably. I am wondering what that meaning is, in the context of the Israeli spying issue under discussion. Do you understand? Haqi thought Pollard was real. I let him know it wasn't. A minor matter. But I still would be curious to know what "business is business" meant, in haqi's mind, Pollard or no Pollard! Maybe you can help me out?

I felt I could handle the threat without tattling, btw. (And did.) It never occurred to me to do that. I find people who report other people puzzling. It seems cowardly, and makes such a clear statement that they can't take care of themselves. Once a guy who got mad, not even at me, but at some friends of mine who didn't have their email addresses posted, emailed someone (an uninvolved friend of mine who also had his email address posted) and told him that in this country he "could find out where their friend E lived and send someone there with a gun, but that would be wrong." So of course this got back to me, as it was intended to. I didn't even report that. But I don't have my email address posted now!
