Micron is further into this DDR/Samurai than most think. I read about it at least 4-5 months ago...
So they aren't thrilled about RAMBUS' toll road, for sure...

As you said, Micron's complete support of DDR SDRAM guarantees availability of this RAM in the market for time to come. While Intel will be sticking to DRDRAM in desktops, AMD will have the benefit Micron's support, withOUT a $500M investment! This support is another example of Sanders' virtual gorilla theory. Too bad that didn't work on the infrastructure side...

Edit - You know, Micron wouldn't support the Athlon family if they weren't sure upcoming Athlons could effectively compete against the competition in the future. Just something to think about...
