Your implication is that the market maker sold the stock because it will go down. However, the stock moved higher. So, at least in the short term, the market maker is on the wrong side of the trade.

take a look at this chart. Look at the OBV. It shows steady accumulation over the last 1 1/2 years. The stock will move higher when the accumulation that is underway overtakes the available supply of shares. What is also interesting is that the weekkly RSI is declining yet the price was very steady at the floor. The weekly candles all have the same low. This is referred to as a tweezer bottom.
Another positive development is the stochastics approaching the oversold level, yet the price held steady at the level of the floor. When prices fail to move lower, that is a bullish development. IMO, this stock will move higher in the coming months, based on the clues I see in the chart. Does that mean the stock will definately move higher? Absolutely not! It just something I use to help me make decisions.
