You may very well be right; I think we should have bilingual refs (or translators immediately at ring side) for those bouts where a language barrier could result in that sort of confusion. Actually, come to think of it, I'm going to make a prediction after all: I'll take Golota over Norris, number of rounds or decision open.

I'll tell you something else, Mr. Mark. Much as I like Tapia, those blatant headbutts in the 11th round were disqualification fodder, IMHO. He'd already won the bout by far in points, had knocked Torres down, AND, Torres had lost a point for holding. So why the headbutts? For a typically smart fighter, Johnny, you risked giving a hard fought fight to Torres on a silver platter.

IMHO, it's that type of leniency on the part of a ref that make ear bitings, thrown elbows, and judo-type throws an inevitability.
