I think that I agree with Gloop on this (that is, if I understood correctly). If we get 50 beeps, then the market may give a sigh of relief that the hikes are over for a while and rally. If we get 25 beeps, I think we all know that there is another hike in the near term.

I'd like Greenie to do the drastic thing, but I don't think that he will (though my view changes every half hour or so).

I think the .25 point move would be viewed as just another in a series of moves. .50 would allow the market (correct or incorrect) to rally on the notion that we are done with hikes for a while.
