The only threat I see to PC's is that they do so much, but at a price. Most people get onto the web, write e-mails, and do word processing. In general, the very high-end computers that are sold to individuals are used to play games on.

With many of the consumer electronics comanies releasing devices that can do all that and also play DVD's, there will be some pressure on the PC market. This will accelerate if HDTV ever takes off as HDTV has much better resolution than regular TVs. I think the pressure will be in the low end where Dell doesn't have a huge presence.
