Personally, I think it will be much more interesting to read the analyses they will write five years from now that factor in technology, productivity, widespread market participation, instant information and a host of other factors.

I find that more productive than taking the theories of the past and just flatly demanding that everything that ever happens in the future must conform to that norm.

They're called intellectual paradigms - and they change with steady regularity over the decades.

I still haven't found a sound, comprehensive model that addresses what has happened the past few years in the market. It's more like a lite beer commercial:
