Zeev, Re: wheat.

We grow durum wheat. Yes, there are support prices for grains and this does help the farmer. Also, we get nice checks from the government for storing our grain. The granary on the farm was build in 1904 and it has paid for it self many times over. I can remember that we did not sell a bushel of grain during the early 40's and in 1947 when the price sky rocked we sold all. It was not that long ago that we had $6 a bushel grain and the trucks were busy. It has been tough lately, but that will change. I am social security age and it happens like clock work.

You can see from my background why debt is not a friend, only in very specific cases.
