Ron: Doc Kronkite is still in seclusion, somewhere down in the Carribean. The poor fellow keeps buyig the dips, refuses EVER to short, go into cash or realize that things have changed. His paitent, Mendelbaun the Fund Manager tracked him down, calls him daily with stock that "can't miss", byt the doc refuses to take his calls. The doc has taken a mighty hit the passt 2-3 months and is busily licking his wounds; he's cancelled all appoinmtents with his trader clients; he simply does not want to discuss the market and his client's problems. Perhaps I shall suggest that Dortmunder call him, try to help the poor chap. (Lee)

Speekin' of scones... It's tough to find a good one nowadays. The last memorable scone encounter I had was five years ago in a Washington D.C. Starbucks on Wisconsin Ave. Thick, moist, chock-full 'o blueberries. Odd that I remember it, but it was THAT good. Haven't had one like it since.
