i made the change and i don't even use outlook! lol! but the cnet article did say something about the ie browser (and not just the email client) being impacted, so i determined that i needed to make that adjustment.

like you, i believe a lot of features would have to be inoperable before i would raise up my head and say 'hey!'.

i am using ie5.0 more frequently now than ever before. particularly for espn java applet stuff that was absolutely wrecking netscape.
