They are magnificent animals in general, and the true studs (and studettes) are really a thing to behold. Most people don't realize Secretariat was born in Virginia. We used to be a true hot bed of racing, but times sure have changed. I'm not much of a horseman (usually referred to by the other end of them), but last year I got to ride a champion polo pony and I'm not afraid to admit that when he took off at a full gallop I was SCARED. The power is incredible. What a rush. Jeff
