Please, please tell me that asking me what a "message board musing" is was nothing more than a rhetorical question; and then, what your point was in asking such rhetorically.

Simply stated, my position: dealers should not - and justifiably, IMHO, are not - required to execute any orders but those which are, by regulatory bylaw, liability inducing. That's it.

As I expressed to you about a month ago via PM, and more publicly in my message about a day ago: I will no longer engage in pointless discussions about the intricacies of dealer compliance practices, specifically with regard to order handling, limit order protection, exposure, and the like. It's a waste of everyone's time and there are books and internet sources from which any interested individual can get their fill.
