Nope, other than a slightly cynical view that they shouldn't have been up on Friday. Let me reiterate that 50 ticks of the NQ is MINISCULE in the grand scheme of trading that vehicle. 50 ticks vs an average 16,000 ticks per day - well you do the math. Sometimes price wins over volume. Someone goosed the futures intentionally that day at a key point. A great day for distribution? I do not normally subscribe to conspiracy theories but it seems to me that for the mere price of 350,000$ that was a a cheaply engineered rise. Perhaps someone was betting that whoever was selling the big contract early in the am (for MUCH bigger bucks) would be shaken out. I don't get that sense by looking at the charts, but its hard to tell. I'll be ready long or short come Monday.
