Dear John: To say AG is the architect is, IMHO, giving him too much credit. I would say he was in the right place at the right time and was smart enough not to mess it up. However, I seem to see a hardening of the FED's attitude. Possibly brought on by this constant Media harping on inflation, belittling somewhat the FED's success so far in controlling this SO CALLED inflation etc etc. My only fear is that a knee jerk reaction may cause very unfavorable results. JDN

Dear John: tried to respond early this morning but server wouldnt post for some reason. Since then, I see the market pundits NOW give a 90% for 1/2 pt. raise and ultimately see a MINIMUM of 1 full percent raise (to 7%) before year end. I personally think that is a mistake. The policy of gradulism takes time to work and in many ways was beginning to take effect. I will be sorry to see them abandon it. JDN

PS: I see my original post was posted 3 TIMES sorry about that. It didnt happen while I was on the computer, must somehow save the unposted attempts.
