You probably need not only a negative but one from a shot designed to capture suffient detail to enlarge to 3' x 4'. (A drafter tried to enlighten me once when I proposed a big blowup of a photo for a presentation.)

Negatives would be much better -- and they also must be "larger" than normal in order that they have sufficient detail. (A drafter tried to enlighten me once when I proposed to enlarge a photo for to poster-size for a presentation.)

It will be interesting to see if/how AMD assists in your quest. AAPL made its "Think Different" advertising series available as posters and there was a lot of interest -- I have one of the sets but not the other two "safely stored" in the basement.
