Stephen,

doesn't it surprise anyone that no one has come out to explain or defend the stock?

Not me. No one tried to explain why it increased so much last year. I can never get used to the idea that investors rarely want anyone to explain why a stock goes up but usually want an explanation as to why it went down. Especially for readers of this folder who should have seen the discussions of the stock valuation in a year when the Nazdaq went up an unprecedented 85%, no further explanations should be needed in my opinion.

If I were to ask anything of management, it would be that they continue to work at explaining the company's product in laymen's terms, not the stock.

Stephen,

I don't expect the company to defend the stock. In fact, I would like sell any stock that a company tries to talk up after a fall. Call me suspicious....

Stocks go up and stocks go down. I invest in things I believe it and make sure I remain viligent. No matter what, each one of us should be excercising due diligence with our investments.

A stock going down is a potential investment opportunity. I want the management of the companies I invest in to be less worried about the stock price and more about managing the company, products, and personnel. Also, I think the best way for Citrix to regain value is to better explain the company to the general public. It is very misunderstood, which leads to people making speculative investments. That is why the company retraces so quickly when the market goes south.
