LPS5,

are you saying that you want me to define what the words, "message board musings" mean or refer to?

Directly, no. I have a pretty good idea of what musing is, and have done some from time to time. What I was hoping for was clarification of "the rule", since as stated in my last message it appears there may be two different rules, both of which might be (and have been, if only by the less knowledgeable) referred to as "trade or move". One refers to the premarket MM jockeying for position, ala brec's message #8307, and the other, to which I assumed from the context Jon was referring in his message #8298, that prompted my reply #8299 and your reply #8303, is the rule for handling SelectNet preference orders during market hours.

I don't know if you interpreted Jon's comment the same way I did, but in the context of my interpretation your reply sounded to me like you were arguing that MMs should not be obligated to fill SelectNet preference orders. I've rendered my opinion on that, and I'll let it rest.

Dan
