(OT) el paradiso, as a Canadian I have to say don't believe everything you hear down there in America; the Canadian health care system is great! For example last year I broke my hand and so I phoned in to the hospital to ask how long the wait would be in the emergency room. They said there's no wait, come on down and we'll see you immediately. Another example: a friend of mine recently had a seizure. He went to the hospital and they gave him every kind of scan and test that same night. It turned out he had a brain tumor. His life was saved by surgery in a state-of-the-art real-time MRI imaging facility which is one of only ten now existing in the world. His doctors are experts in their field who regularly publish papers in leading journals. And all this does not cost the patient a cent - the cost is shared by all taxpayers. It's a health insurance scheme that really works, unlike many private insurance plans in the US which have restrictions (like you can only go to a doctor who works for your insurance company) and deductibles up to 20%.
