Peach, have you checked your 'wave' volume setting? Double click on the speaker symbol in the system tray.

Default player: I also recently downloaded the latest Realplayer and it made itself the default [I hate it when it does that]. I changed to Media Player as follows:

1. In Windows Explorer I highlighted a *.wav file, then VIEW>FOLDER OPTIONS>FILE TYPES and scrolled to wav and hit
REMOVE.

2. next double click on a *.wav file and you'll be asked with what program you want to open this file. Select Media Player.

I can never remember this sequence very long, as it's a little non-intuitive.

just in case, and to be sure...

try double-clicking the speaker icon in your systray and checking the volume controls. maybe one is muted.

I think its a browser plugin problem, config.

What ver of Netscape are you using?
