take a look at the characters hyping it on the thread - not exactly your "boy scouts". You want multiple wavelenths - get a flashlight and break down the white light into constituent parts. Problem is for telecom we need lasers of certain power and clearly defined wavelength(s). so they have a 2 dimensional light source. that's cool since years ago, lasers were invented that put out the energy in an arc. So wutz the big deal? Which firms are testing the products? Have they been exhibited at any trade shows? Is the underlying company starved for dinero? Who shot JR? and as a side note, be careful of companies hyping technology that was developed in Russia. beware of companies with former russians, Israelis, & Persians running the show. They come from societies where the only way to succeed is to cheat the system because the system is more corrupt than you can imagine. So in a sense, they are a product of their environment.
