Found this and thought of you, enjoy!! A WOMAN'S PRAYER Dear Lord... So far today, I am doing all right. I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or self indulgent. I have not whined, bitched, cursed, or eaten any chocolate. I have not charged on my credit card. However, I am going to get out of bed in a few minutes, and I will need a lot more help after that. Druss CAN walk on water....for a little bit. OR Instant Karma gonna get you.... Most of you know that I have the misfortune to be hosting Druss for a fishing trip. It is not much worse that shooting yourself in the foot with a nailgun...repeatedly. But there are moments of vindication..... We were fishing a local pond at his insistence...despite 30 MPH winds. Normal people don't allow for Kentucky windage while flyfishing. Druss does. In an effort to be a good host, I ended up battling a boat and motor in that wind. At one point, I was fighting the motor to get away from some carnivorous brush that was determined to eat one of my flyrods and Druss found my antics vastly amusing. Then Karma struck. Since I was busy trying to save a rod, I was not terribly concerned where we were going. I failed to disengage the motor. Since I was otherwise engaged, we rammed a dead tree in the lake. And since Druss was having a good time at my expense, he was unaware that we were about to have a sudden stop which was fine with me. I wasn't the one setting on the bow deck. I have to give him credit.....the first 3-4 step across the water, he didn't sink much at all....... lee
