I disagree totally.

If RDRAM costs 3 times as much (if that cost is $75 vs $15) then the added PC cost is $50. No one gives a rats ass about this if there is a performance benefit. The fact that there is such a demand that the spot market ups the cost by anonther $200 is irrelevant.

You say there is no performance benefit. Intel, DELL, MOT, etc. etc, say there is. OBVIOUSLY THE GREAT ALI IS RIGHT AND EVERYONE ELSE IS AN IDIOT! TO THE GREAT ALI!
ALL HAIL THE GREAT ALI!!!
ALL HAIL THE GREAT ALI!!!
ALL HAIL THE GREAT ALI!!!

Finally, all except those of you who hide under a client's mask and/or are AMD morons presumabbly trying to save us, can see what Intel's market share is vs AMD's and VIA's market share.

Intel wants RDRAM. Intel will get it.
