I would think it's bad news if they have to discount the price of the PC in order to sell it. It would indicate low sales.

Dave,

DELL will be reporting its quarterly results this week.
So there is no need to speculate when one can wait a few days and get the report.

I doubt that DELL would take a hit on RDRAM after their past few quarter results.
