Hi Jim,

A Moore's Law equivalent for the spread of fiber?

I've made reference in the past to fiber's inexorable "creep," as it spreads its reach slowly but surely towards commercial and residential targets, alike.

Fiber Creep. It's that phenomenon which now accounts for deep fiber into many neighborhoods, lower cluster populations on HFCs, integrated fiber in the loop (IFITL), passive optical networks which are inching their way into peoples' driveways, soon to find their way to the side of their homes. Fiber Creep.
