I read it, but was not so sure how far to trust the implications, as I mentioned at the time. Anyway, I agree, they should be able to hold hearings. I am just wondering if the Bush campaign is not cautioning against shooting from the hip before the hearings have reached some sort of conclusion. I don't know, of course, but a lot of times Novak plays advocacy journalism, and spins things to put people on the spot........
