AMEN Sister.... short term trading is the best for now...can't even position trade anymore..your position gets slaughtered the same damn day.. whipsaws and volitility are the keynotes in this market.. and us/we/you/me traders, can and will survive and make nice dollars in this kind of market...

Well Jenna, I'm sure glad I never took your advice on this matter. INSP, GE, IBM, BRCM, NTAP, etc. Lot's up hundreds and many thousands of percent. If this is "bleeding to death" give me more!! Gotta love that minimum capital tax gain!! Even CSCO with a split adjusted cost of under $2 and it's going to get killed today. It's tough living with all the pain <ggg>.

WOW, Jenna....I believe every word in that post! You and OJ are really good at staying in tune with market fluxuations and changing expectations....I guess some of the fun has gone out of trading. Surviving the day with smaller gains is fine. As you pointed out....we will be there the day we need to jump off the sidelines with tons of cash. I really hope this fall we don't turn into a full blown bear market. It's amazing how critical stock selection and timing is becoming more important everyday. JJ
