Marvels, certainly. An ant is marvelous, but it is an embodiment (in a small body) of ordinary Material Science. Now if you would have used the word miracles without which your implied therefore is impotent, we'd'a had something to argue about. I don't shoot at hiding ducks.

<<<An alternative explanation: nature is full of marvels, and therefore it did not strike him as
intrinsically improbable...>>>

Of course it didn't strike him as "intrinsically improbable." He completely, sincerely, believed it, until I did some research, using the sites he offered, and convinced him.

At the point PROLIFE posted the shouted lie, it was NOT HIS LIE.

The lie, as I said and will show I said, was that of the writer of the pamphlet that people like PROLIFE have been diseminating, UNKNOWINGLY but usefully, they figured, to their cause, for eighteen years.

The pamphlet was a lie, made up by those who knew that it postulated a humungous fetus or a teeny weeny adult. Because, with that postulate, they could claim, if challenged, that it was "true."

However, they conveniently left off the postulate, because it would show the stat to be laughable.

THAT LIE WAS THE PAMPLET AUTHOR'S LIE, NOT PROLIFE'S.

And it was a vile, creepy lie, one designed to trick people like PROLIFE into "shouting" it as though it meant something it didn't.
