[This diatribe is not directed at David, but at the simpleton who was touting CSCO at Motley Fool...]

How about a simple one, Mr. Donlan?.which company has been able to demonstrate the highest and most consistent top and bottom line growth over the last 40 quarters? Doesn't this information relate to how investors value these companies?

How about a simple one, Mr. Know-It-All, aka "long-term investor" born in 1995? Automatic Data Processing (AUD) has achieved tremendous growth over not just 40 quarters of a bull market, but over a much, much longer period of time. It has 152 consecutive quarters of record revenues and earnings growth, and 38 consecutive years of double-digit earnings growth, encompassing all kinds of markets. And how much does the market value it at? At 41 times trailing earnings, and 36 times estimated Year 2001 earnings. So there!

Financial Journalism, National Enquirer-style.

Yeah, right! Tell me about it! Does the name "Iomega" ring a bell?! <g> Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! It will be a great buying opportunity when the Motley Fool site stops posting its daily garbage and their stupid radio programs are stopped because all their idiotic self-styled started-investing-in-1995 "long-term investors" were taken to the cleaners!
