Hi,

I can certainly appreciate how a heterogenous network is a pain from a security standpoint. To say that though that NT and Solaris are on an equal security footing kinda indicates you have a background in management and not engineering, yes?

Don't get me wrong, I think there is a world of difference between NT and Solaris. MS is the worst. Hell, you don't have to look for buggy software because MS built the mechanism to delivery bad thing right into the software. Yet another indication that MS is not really ready for the enterprise.

I only meant that even if your network is all Solaris there are still ways to attack it. Let me go on the record as saying I see no comparison between unix and the MS world when it comes to security.
