<<"CPQ is about due for a move up of $3-4 ">> I-watch is just as often a CONTRAindicator as a meaninful tool.
<<"Unless there are problems in market or this sector">> Does the entire mkt count? Comparing cpq to DELL, GTW, or INTC is comparing apples to oranges,, non are at the same level as cpq. There will be buyers in line when it gets to the 25 range and if it can hit 22-23 it will gather lots of interest. Now no one is buying much at all waiting on Al who will not help much but could hurt the mkts badly. Some reprieve may be possible if AMAT, DELL, AND CSCO earnings all survive their earnings being picked apart,,, if either falter the mkt will suffer. CPQ is still a very questionable turnaround and the risk is greater than the probable short term reward and many are staying far away,,, It looks better than a year ago but still it has fallen lower than here too many times in that time frame for much interest here...

QuentR;

Oh please! Give me a break. CPQ is down 7 of the last 9 trading sessions. Far worse than dell or virtually anyone else you care to point to. I and most long term cpq investors get pretty tired of the apologists trying desperately to put a positive spin on cpq's lousy performance. Please don't point to one lously,stinking day and make a naive, infantile statement like "cpq beat so and so today". Let's get a reality check. Cpq has underperformed over 90% of all stocks in the last 2 1/2 years. Capiche? Let me make it more clear for you. CPQ HAS UNDERPERFORMED OVER 90% OF ALL STOCKS IN THE LAST 2 1/2 YEARS!!! Gee Whiz! You'd think these cpq shareholders lived in the land of OZ.
