7% is less than the real inflation. A friend of a friend of mine told me during the lunch, the landlord in his apartment complex increased the rent by 30% (WTF, I have never seen such a big jump before). Clothes (dress shirts, or T-shirts), which is supposed to be cheap because of Asian flu, are getting more and more expensive. My relatives in China told me that the clothing business in China has been in recession for many years, and a lot of factories were closed. We could get a deflation in cars, computers, but not in food and clothes.
