Cool article about Smart Cards.

I found it on the G&K Thread.

I'm hoping Ramtron (RMTR) benefits from this.
Their patented Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM) will hopefully be inside all of these smart cards. It requires miniscule power. No battery needed.

I believe a company named Cubic listed in the article, uses FRAM in it's subway smart cards.

I'm trying to find out how many of the others use FRAM as well.

Regarding the return policy of HD. One great thing about them is that the "Bird"on of proof of damaged goods is not placed upon the shopper.
